Mona Nguyen is an interdisciplinary artist working with 3D, VR and experimental
music-live performances. MoAn is her aka for music performances and soon to come
dj sets incorporating her own productions with her take on societal issues. The live-
set “Cycle of Grief” reflects on the toll capitalism takes on society and her own role
and its ethical complications in an unjust system seemingly ingrained into humanity.
While her texts attend to deep issues, the music reflects the emotions of the
psychological concept of the cycle of grief in a dance-able way with beats reaching
from breakcore, to techno to ambient vibes.

Since 2018 Mona is an art student at HfG Offenbach. She has been playing music
since she was a kid and has found a joy in producing, songwriting and performing
since about two years. An important part of her work is the combination of her
different skills reaching from music and sound to 3D art, building VR experiences
and VJ-ing. She has performed at group shows at Naxoshalle, in Tanzhaus West and
saasfee*pavillon and has had exhibitions at slow club Freiburg, Freitagsküche and of
course the HfG Rundgang.
