Gregor "Little Detritus" Bransky

Gregor "Little Detritus" Bransky has been involved in public digital infrastructure policies for nearly a decade. Since 2021 he is a co-founder of the Innovationverbund Öffentliche Gesundheit e.V. (InÖG) and theacting board member for policy and press. The InÖG is a civic-tech project dedicated to building public digital infrastructures that empower society.

He is an active member of the Open Regulatory Compliance WG at Eclipse Foundation and the Supply Chain Integrity, Transparency, and Trust (SCITT) WG at IETF.

The CRA: A key to a more resilient FOSS ecosystem

With the Cyber Resilience Act FOSS projects are legally on the hook as part of software supply chain ecosystems. In order to address regulatory obligations and foster open collaboration within software supply chain ecosystems best practices, tooling and standards as well as established pathways for public benefit stewardship are needed. The talk will present current work in various Open Source Foundations, the IETF, as well the EU.
