MRMCD 2025

Total Transparency

Some wish for a transparent state, others for transparent citizens. Transparency in the form of open standards, data and source code supports both information technology and democracy. It enables informed and fact-based decisions and comprehensible processes. Unfortunately, however, transparency is in a poor state in all areas because technology and society are changing too quickly. As soon as we have started to take a closer look at one problem, new ideas and projects are sprouting up elsewhere.

The team at the MRMCD Academy for Analytical Screening is therefore looking for diligent transparency researchers who have a keen eye for the problem areas of technology and our society and want to help us ensure full transparency. We look forward to talks and workshops that deal with IT security, privacy, eGovernment, transparency or anything else that moves people close to chaos.

If this is exactly your thing, you can submit presentations and workshops to our Pretalx until 17/08/2025. If you're not quite sure you can still submit something, we won't bite. If you are not sure at all, you can contact us via e-mail, we will be happy to help you. Even if you haven't given a presentation yet - we are happy to support aspiring transparency creators. If you can think of someone we should invite to give a talk, we would be delighted to hear from you. All submissions will receive feedback by 24 August 2025 as to whether they have been accepted. As a speaker, you can look forward to our famous all-round care in the Secret Protection Centre.
