You Shall (Not) Vibecode: A small status report about "AI" that will (definitely) replace humans
2025-09-12 , C120 - Art. 15 GDPR
Language: English

AI is now seemingly everywhere in the digital world. And let's be honest: Everything that one knows about the newest AI hype usually happens against ones own will. Either by the manager/boss that will not stop talking about AI or by having a product that suddenly has "new AI-features™" that cannot be turned off...

What happens if we stop "fighting the inevitable" and we finally "embrace AI"? After all: AI is the future™! Why else would companies push AI into everything if it was not ready?

Let us suffer (and laugh) together as we sift through a couple of examples that will demonstrate just how well that works.

Note: This talk will deal exclusively with AIs and their many implementations into consumer products or applications users interact with (like a chatbot on a website or a search engine giving a summary).

Curious, queer (and shy) cat-adjacent entity that occasionally also beeps! (Subject to change)
This being tries to live through the chaos and attempts to be helpful whenever possible because the world is a harsh place. No need to add misery.
Has a fascination with technology and likes to disassemble it to understand what it does. Can often be found around random tech or (strange) software. Reassembly optional and no guarantees that it is correctly put together in the end... but sometimes stuff just breaks, y'know?
